About UA Lakewood

The University of Akron Lakewood is a state-of-the-art facility offering the finest tech-enhanced and tech-supported community space in the city. It consists of three state-of-the-art distance-learning classrooms, a testing center, a community meeting room, a fully loaded conference room, administrative offices and a student lounge.

Students have access to all UA resources, including regional education and local community partnerships.

In addition, The University of Akron is committed to offering the educational opportunities requested by the Lakewood community and businesses. We enter into strategic partnerships with other institutions of higher learning as needed if our programming cannot meet community needs.

University of Akron faculty delivers courses via traditional (face-to-face) and synchronous distance learning technology.
